Appointment Preparation
- Avoid consuming alcohol prior to the scheduled appointment
- Avoid tanning or waxing
- Get adequate sleep and stay hydrated
- Moisturize the placement, excluding the day of the session
- No numbing cream
Aftercare
- A second skin (Saniderm) will be placed on the freshly tattooed area. After 3-5 days, remove it slowly with running water
- Wash with lukewarm water and with a fragrance-free liquid antibacterial soap. Then immediately pat dry with a paper towel.
- Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor 3-4 times a day, for the next 3 days
- After 3 days, switch over to a mild unscented lotion
- Avoid scratching or picking the tattoo
- Avoid direct sunlight for the first two weeks
- Avoid soaking in water (hot tubs, pools, beach) for the first month
